EH_BREWER just had Dos Llaves a This unfiltered Mexican style lager pours slightly hazy in straw-like colour while a white cap brims atop the liquid. Aromas of sweet honeyish malt are front and centre before giving way to undertones of freshly cut hay and cracker alongside trace hints of pear and white bread. Moderate to high in carbonation, the flaked corn and Mexican lager yeast lighten the body while providing flavours of grass/straw leading into a clean, crisp, flavourful finish. Dos Llaves has all the stuff to stand up to a bean filled burrito or spicy enchiladas.
