EH_BREWER just had Buckwheat Blossom Honey Cherry a At Western Reserve Meadery we proudly craft all of our meads with the finest varietal honeys. To craft this semi-sweet melomel, or wine made with honey and fruit, we complemented the robust malt-like flavors of buckwheat honey with the bright tartness of New York State sour cherry juice. We then condition this melomel with French Oak which lends chocolate and vanilla notes. Serve at cellar temperature. Complements beef, lamb or game meats.
